It's that time of year again...temperatures are rising, the ground is softening, and Brewerytown Garden Spring CSA subscriptions are now open!
Each week your share will include a mix of fruits, greens, carrots, beets, potatoes, herbs, etc. The exact harvest will vary from week to week but includes 6-8 produce selections in each share. In the past, we have offered a weekly 1-dozen egg share add-on in addition to the weekly produce share. Unfortunately, the egg supply is fairly unstable at this time so we are unable to guarantee their weekly delivery. As eggs are available, we will offer them on a week-by-week basis.
Members are responsible for picking up their share near the garden greenhouse entrance located on 27th Street just south of Master St. each Saturday (April 5, 12, 19, 26, and May 3, 10, 17, & 24) from 9:00 to 11:00 am.
If for any reason you cannot pick up your share, you must arrange for someone else to pick it up and are responsible for explaining the pick-up location and procedures to your substitute. Shares that are not retrieved within the pick-up time will be donated to a charity or food pantry.
We will communicate with you by email. When you sign up, you will be added to our CSA distribution list. Please read your email from us, as every week we will email an update giving you information about the crops available that week, recipe ideas, or other garden related news.
